Leicester Theory Test Centre Directions
Please note that the entrance to Phoenix Yard is located opposite the Sue Townsend Theatre, underneath the archway between Tinsel Town restaurant, and MNE Accounting.
Car
The test venue is located on Upper Brown Street, in Phoenix Yard, just to the south side of the city centre. Leicester is easily accessible from the M1, and can also be reached via the A6. There are two reliable car parks close to the test centre; their information is listed below. Upper Brown Street Car Park
This car park is positioned directly on the doorstep of Phoenix Yard. The car park is open all day every day, but please note it does operate a four-hour maximum stay limit (unless you’re planning to extend your stay in Leicester beyond your test, this won’t be an issue). There are also a limited number of spaces available, so please ensure you plan a reserve option in case this site is full.
Parking charges are as follows:
- 1 hour = £1
- 3 hours = £3
- 4 hours = £4
If you require an overnight space, through the night tickets are priced at £2 (arrive after 5.00pm, exit before 6.00am). Please note that parking costs are cheaper on Sundays. All payment types are accepted.
