The testing area is positioned on the second floor of the building. On approach to Union House, you’ll see a large grey frontage above head height, which has the words ‘2 Vine Street’ displayed across it. The building entrance is directly under this signage.

The site sits adjacently to Tru Gym, and opposite the old ‘Randalls’ department store.

Uxbridge Theory Test Centre Directions

Car

Uxbridge is located on the extreme western outskirts of London, and is accessible via the M40, A40, and M25 ring road. The town’s testing venue is located within Union House, located on Vine Street in the centre of Uxbridge.

Parking

There are ample parking options nearby. At either of the below car parks, we would recommend purchasing a two-hour ticket, as this will provide enough time to make your journey to Union House, conduct your test, and then return to your vehicle.

Grainges Multi-Storey Car Park, situated just over 300m away from the test centre, charges a modest £2.40 for two-hour parking coverage. Please note that all payment types are accepted. Disabled spaces are available at this facility. The onwards walk to the venue should take approximately four minutes, heading south-east on Cross Street and before merging onto Vine Street and onto Union House.

The Chimes Car Park is a touch further away, but slightly cheaper than the Grainges, with two hours of parking at £2.20. Please be aware that disabled parking is accommodated at this site, and electronic vehicle charging facilities are available. To reach the test centre, head west through Uxbridge town centre, dropping down onto High Street and then turning left into Vine Street.

Bus

There are numerous bus services which pass in close proximity to Union House. To identify which one is most appropriate for your personal journey, please head to the relevant ‘Moovit’ page.

If taking advantage of the local bus network, please aim to arrive at one of the following stops:

Vine Street, Crown Walk, Uxbridge Bus Station. All of these destinations are within a six-minute walk of the test site.

Train

Uxbridge Underground Station can be reached via both Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines.

The station is within close walking distance of Union House. To navigate this roughly three-minute journey, please head south on High Street, before turning right onto Vine Street. The venue will be then approximately 50m up on your right-hand side.

The nearest overground train station is located in Hillingdon, over 3.5km away from the testing venue. Therefore, we would encourage you to either opt for tube or bus travel to facilitate your journey to Union House.
