North Finchley Theory Test Centre Directions
Car
North Finchley’s test venue is located within the Tally Ho Corner building, on High Road. North Finchley itself is located on the northern outskirts of London, and is accessible via the A406 and M1, which pass to the south and west of the borough respectively.
Parking
Tally Ho Corner has on-site parking available, located underneath the building. Although there is a maximum stay limitation of ninety minutes, this should provide more than enough time to conduct your test and return to your vehicle. Disabled spaces are available at this site.
Woodhouse Road Car Park is conveniently situated around 150m east of the venue. A ninety-minute parking ticket at this facility is priced at £2.50, which can be paid for via the PayByPhone service line. This car park also accommodates disabled parking.
Further local parking options can be found on the relevant Parkopedia page, located here.
Bus
There are multiple bus services that have scheduled stops within close proximity of Tally Ho Corner building. Indeed, North Finchley Bus Station is positioned within the building itself, and Tally Ho Corner and Kingsway bus stops are both located directly outside the site.
To plan your personal journey to the venue, please find a list of appropriate bus services available via this link.
Train
The nearest tube station is Woodside Park, which is situated on the Northern Line of London’s underground network. The station is located just over a kilometre away from Tally Ho Corner. Given that using a connecting bus service from this destination to the test centre would only shave a few minutes of the overall journey time, and still demand a substantial amount of walking, we would encourage you to head to the venue by foot. To do this, progress east on Woodside Park Road, and then south on the A1000 (High Road) for around 650m. The venue will emerge on your left-hand side.
New Southgate is the closest railway station to Tally Ho Corner, which facilitates travel from in and around London and its surrounding areas. Although located over 2.5km away, onwards travel to the test site is supported well by the 221 Edgware bus route. You’ll be able to catch this service from New Southgate station, and head directly to North Finchley Bus Station, which, as previously mentioned, is based within the Tally Ho Corner complex. Total journey time will take approximately sixteen minutes.
For more information about either station, please visit the Transport for London website (Woodside Park/New Southgate).
